A good recipe for sour cream and onion flavored seasoning?
I’d like to make my own sour cream and onion powdered seasoning. You know, the kind you can get on potato chips, dry powder, not a creamy dip. I want to use it on homemade chips, popcorn, sesame sticks, and other snacks. Does anyone know a recipe?
Thanks for any dip recipes, but I already have those…I need the dry seasoning recipe please!

No; but here’s a simple cream & onion dip:
Equal parts lo-fat sour cream & plain yoghurt.
1 tbsp of mayo for the preservatives & emulsifiers.
Add some Lipton’s french onion soup mix, as desired.
The closest thing I can think of would be onion powder, garlic salt, I don’t know where to get the sour cream flavor from though…….it would be good on Chex mix too!
what comes to mind is vinegar powder which is used in the vinegar and salt seasoning for chips …perhaps if this is mixed milk powder & onion powder.(dried chives for color)..this might work…you can order vinegar powder in on line
