Advice on bringing my rosemary and basil indoors for the winter?
This is my first summer gardening and I have a few basil (sweet and spicy plants) and a rosemary plant that I would like to bring in for the winter. They were healthier and produced more than expected outside, but I am unsure how to treat them as indoor plants. Any advice on how to make the transition and upkeep indoors would be appreciated.

you have to start like right now adapting them to the inside of your house. little by little you need to take them indoors, then put them back outside. i dont think your basil plant will make it but, your rosemary plant should especially if the stauk of the plant is thick and mature. dont over water the rosemary. hope this helps.
As far as your basil, you can bring that indoors and make sure that it is in a “full sun” spot and it should do fine. Rosemary is a very hardy outside plant, depending on where you live, mild winters, I would not take it indoors, but if you have harsh winters, bring it in and make sure that it is in a spot that has sun most of the day. Water each when the soil feels like it is getting dry.
