Any good recipes that incorporate spices?
I’m not looking for ‘hot’ recipes, just recipes that use spices. I have all of the typical ones but also pink Himalayan salt, whole nutmegs, Turkish bay leaves, whole Moroccan coriander, whole french thyme, Asian chilie rings, whole Indian cumin and Turkish oregano buds. I’m not really sure what makes these different than the regular supermarket ground cumin, iodized salt, etc.

Aren’t you lucky to have all of those wonderful spices!
Use these in any recipe that call for these spices.
Fresh herbs are stronger than dried and have a better flavor. I use nutmeg all the time in any milk or cream based sauce.
Tyme is great in marinades for chicken, meat or in salad dressings and soups.
You have it backwards! You don’t need recipes to use spices.
You make whatever you like & add spices to enhance taste.
Nutmeg is used on custards. Bay leaves go in stews.
Coriander & cumin go with meat curries. Chili adds heat.
Oregano is a favourite in Italian (spaghetti) sauces.
Thyme goes mostly with poultry.
