Any way to reduce green pepper flavor in beef chili?
I have a bunch of cans of trader joes beef chili – and it has way too much green pepper and jalepeno flavor in it for me – is there something I could add to the chili to reduce it?
A squirt of lemon?
A potato?
Anything?
Anything that would cover it?
Let me know if you know of something that will do the trick.
thanks a bunch

Corn chips! Crumble up corn chips or slice up tortillas and add it to the chili. I also like cream of chicken soup added to chili to extend and quiet the spice. Pile on grated cheddar cheese and eat your milder, fine chili.
a good dollop of soured cream will do .. or yogurt
U can put more herb & spices that u like while u cook it, or give some lime juice if u like.
