Yes, A cinnamon incense stick and a cone are made of the same things; a bit of cinnamon essential oil, and binding agents. They will carry the same spiritual properties. incense with other spices in them will carry different properties.
However, if you really are looking for the spiritual properties of cinnamon, incense sticks/cones have very little of the actual herb in them, and are often artificially scented. They are mostly just air fresheners.
It is probably better (and cheaper) to get some incense charcoal, light it, and sprinkle actual cinnamon from a grocery/spice store on top of the charcoal.
When you blend, you alter the benefits. As it takes on properties of the other spices…
Cones, sticks, doesn’t matter, it is the smoke that matters. You should make sure that what you are using is consecrated for a specific purpose, then no worries about what form you use.
Some rituals will go better with one than the other, take in to consideration how long each burns, how long you need it to, etc. Sometimes one shape will lend itself more naturally to your purpose than another…
Mostly just personal preference.
add – the comment about quality & actual spice content is important advice too…
Sky darlin where you been? another dimension lol jk Anyway whilst you’re burning your cinnamon incense (*either sticks or cones doesn’t matter they are the same essence although some brands may smell sharper, deeper, more intense aroma)..add cinnamon spice, fresh ground cinnamon like cinnamon sticks is best. Just use a separate grinder for grinding and add to your daily diet for flavoring and medicinal purposes. Also try not to overdo it with the cinnamon meaning don’t consume more than 1/4 tsp. per day or you may experience digestive distress…with cinnamon less is definitely more
Spiritual is such an open to interpretation if the spice in the incense or cones takes you to a spiritual level then fine.
Its the out come that matters.
Cinnamon is one of the most versatile and magical spices I know of.
It has just gotten some perks for medicinal uses as well.
Yes, it’s your preference
