Are dill pickles good or bad for you?

I have always loved dill pickles. I just found out that I am pregnant, and have gone crazy for pickles. I have two kids, and never craved them like this! I have been eating up to 10 baby dill pickles a day. I just want to make sure they are not bad for me or baby.

Eat the BIG dills

They’re kind of in the middle — not really good for you, but not really bad for you either unless you eat a lot of them or if you have high blood pressure (gotta watch your sodium intake in that case).

No. It’s a pickled cucumber, so have fun and remember moderation is the key, just don’t overdue it. The one craving I’ve had with this one is, a Hamburger dill pickle-cheese- and ranch sammie on white bread, whenever I can’t figure out what to eat.

Yeah, sodium is the only thing to watch out for with pickles, but I love DILLS!!!!!!

they are good for you because they are vegetables, but they have a lot of sodium. you could eat different foods with garlic and vinegar, but if you are eating that many pickles try to get the lower sodium content ones.

your body knows what it wants though and it tells you what it needs to stay healthy through cravings (though cravings for ice cream and chocolate are usually for energy)

yes and no in the middle

If you eat like a whole jar that is a lot of sodium, but just a few and it’s a very low calorie and tasty snack.

thats probably wayyyy too much salt

I love dill pickles also….Use to eat 2 a daily buying 2 jars every two week…Well I had to cut back on them…They are loaded with sodium …I did not know how much sodium until I did some research…..Also they can cause fibroids….
