Can I leave the onion dip out?
I am having a pool party. I am kind of having a snack bar off to the side of the pool. I want to leave chips and onion dip out but I’m not sure if the dip will go bad. By the way, onion dip is made with sour cream, which I believe is perishable.

fill a insalated pouch like the small lunch bags with ice and put your dip in a bowl and leave it on top of the pouch.
No you cannot leave the onion dip out or i will devour it. Hide all of your dip!!!!! I am the DArk ostrich. The dark ostrich will eat all of your dips.

Yes anything that is persihable left out for 4 hours is very hazardous….I wouldnt wasnt to risk getting everyone sick so just make sure to keep it cooled…maybe put it into a small sized container and then insert that container into another one filled with ice…just make sure to change out your ice once it melts….
fill a big tray with ice and set them in it itll keep it cool
Yes it will go bad…what you can do is get a bowl that is 5 times larger and fill it with ice…place the dip container in the center of the ice bowl and it will help keep it cold and fresh longer. Always have one in the fridge as a back up
