Can you send mace over international mail? How about chocolate?
Whenever I send something internationally from the USA, the postal clerks ask “Is there anything fragile, perishable, or hazardous?” Does that mean I can’t send mace or other pepper spray (for personal protection of friends) or does that mean I have to fill out a special form? Chocolate is perishable, so first of all, am I allowed to send it internationally or second of all, how will it fare?

Ask the postal clerk. Mace, pepper spray, and similar products probably can’t be mailed due to hazardous material shipping regulations.
