Did you take Fenugreek to help with breastmilk?
I started taking Fenugreek a week ago, have saw a little increase in milk supply not much though. Just curious how much did you take (I take 4 pills 3 times a day) and did it work for you? And how long did it take to work?

I tried it, taking 3 pills, 3 times a day. It started working the 2nd day, but then it gave me horrible stomach problems and I stopped taking it.
Yes, I took it. I took the same amount 4 pills 3 times per day. I had a milk drop 3 months into nursing and I took fenugreek and went on a pumping schedule to increase milk for the first week. They helped a lot but I can’t say for sure which helped the most pumping or fenugreek. I continued fenugreek until 10 months of nursing but at the 8 – 9th month my milk supply started to decrease to where I only nursed twice a day. I also drank Mother’s Milk tea (taste like licorice) starting at month 6 and it helped a little also and seemed to work withing a few days (drank it 3 x day). If I had it to do over I would have nursed more often and started solids later. Also eat well because the fenugreek can cause your blood sugar to drop and eating/drinking fluids will keep your supply up. If the fenugreek doesn’t work for you see a lacatation consultant about setting up a pumping schedule and your supply should increase.
I didn’t have much luck with just fenugreek by itself. Some moms do while others have to try different stuff. After trying many different things, I have had the best results with Breastea. Just make sure to breastfeed and or pump often. My milk supply went up about five ounces from using it regularly and I make sure that I pump every 2 to 3 hours.
