Difference between these spices? Butter Chicken recipe?

I am making Butter Chicken, its an Indian food. What is the difference between coriander powder crushed and ground coriander seed? is it the same? Can I use either one in my recipe an it still would taste the same? ALSO difference between ground cumin and cumin seeds? Is it the same? Can I use either one in my recipe an it still would taste the same?
Thank you all so much!

Ooh! I love Butter Chicken!! :D
Ok, well I really am not sure about the coriander powder and seed. Its different I think, for example, garlic and garlic powder. They’re not totally the same. With the ground cumin and cumin seeds, u’ll get same flavor. But since its ground and not whole I think you’re getting more of it. Like with the seeds it’s more of the meal kind of extracting the flavor from the seed but it’s not overpowering. Its contained. But if it’s ground you’re covering more area and mixing it in. Do you know what I mean? sorry I couldn’t explain it that well. Just my opinion. Good luck! :)
