		<description>that&#039;s interesting, I haven&#039;t heard that before.....what I have heard about using turmeric internally is that it is effective only when taken with piperine(in black pepper) and also if turmeric is mixed with an oil(extra virgin coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil) this way the body absorbs it better and it directly effects the lymph nodes,.... at least that&#039;s what I read somewhere online in my turmeric research a while back....</description>

Curcumin is not all that well absorbed by the intestines... but a compound in black pepper, piperine, more than doubles curcumin levels in the bloodstream.
