Does vanilla extract serve any other purpose than flavoring in most recipies? Can I substitute it?
The title pretty much says it all. I want to make pancakes and the recipe calls for 1/2 tsp. of vanilla. Will it make THAT much of a difference if I leave it out of the recipe? Or ANY recipe for that matter?
(Also, because it’s driving me crazy right now, how do you PROPERLY spell recipe?)
Thanks for any help you all might be able to give me!
