A lot of people use ginger ale when they are feeling a bit nauseous. The carbonation with the ginger and water may produce a better outcome.

I’d just stick with ginger ale or even chew on some candied ginger pieces.

you can buy a regular ginger tea. in tea bags

ginger does reduce nausea, but fresh works best. you can infuse it into tea. dried does work but its not as potent.
yes, you can add it to your tea.

My girlfriend has frequent problems with nausea and her stomache and carried a piece of ginger with her all the time and breaks a little piece off (or slices it) and chews it to settle her stomache. Ginger ale is also good if your travelling but it has to be flat and you must open the bottle or can and let it go flat before drinking. This is what my mother had to do always as she had problems with her inner ear that put her off balance & made her nauseus watching TV or travelling. This was doctor’s advice.

I think you should discuss this with your doctor. There could be other reasons for the nausea requiring a different treatment.
