Herbs: Can you recommend a book/website to teach me how to use them?
I enjoy cooking my own meals, but I don’t know how to properly use herbs and spices to give my food better flavor. I love the taste that fresh and raw garlic & onion give to foods, but also need to learn how to use them as ingredients in cooking. Can anyone recommend a good cookbook or website that can teach me how to use herbs, spices, garlic and onion in my cooking?
Thanks!

or check the libary they could tell you names and auther’s
type in the word “cookbooks” in the search engine
“Church Suppers” cookbook is my favorite, but there are other cookbooks on here you might enjoy….take a look!
I got this link:
from this webpage:
americastestkitchen.com
it’s a PBS show so their very unbiased on their advice and recommendations.
The best thing to do is to experiment with them, but if you MUST use a website,.
Why yes I can! Take a look at a cookbook called “The Best of Thymes” by Marge Clark. Pretty thick book with lots of recipes with herbs and spices. Also, check out this website:
She is extremely knowledgeable in regards to using herbs and spices in the kitchen and has written a couple books as well. You might want to contact her for a book that’s not on the web site but I have a copy of…”No-Thyme To Cook Herbal Gourmet”. It’s a great book with quick recipes made better with herbs and spices.
