herbs, translated polish to English, liver cleansing, herb shops?
I need to get couple of herb seeds and leafs but i have no idea where to buy things like that… Moreover i only have the names of the herbs in polish and i’m not sure if the translations are right at all. perhaps you wise people could help me?
I will appreciate any sort of extra knowledge about this herbs and anything relevant that you wouldn’t mind sharing…
I need this herbs as I’m going to do “Liver Cleansing” using old recipe … it involves intake of these herbs over 3 days and eating very little… If my translations are right the last 2 leafs are poisonous… I will give it a go anyway and suffer the consequences but as i said i will appreciate any extra knowledge and especially an answer to the question: Where do i get these from?
now, i need:
seeds of:
“koper” ( which is DILL i believe )
“fenkuł” ( FENNEL i believe )
“kolendra” ( CORIANDER? )
“kminek” ( cumin? Cuminum cyminum, caraway?)
“anyż” ( anise? star anise? badiane?)
leafs of:
senna ( SENNA? )
“rzewień” ( RHUBARB? chinese rhubarb? )
“kruszyna” ( Alder Buckthron?)

Michal,
You don’t say where are you from, so it’s kind of difficult to tell you where to buy specifically, but try your local herb shop, they should have it. I checked the names and made sure they are correct.
seeds of:
“fenkuł or koper włoski” ( FENNEL) Foeniculum vulgare
“kolendra” ( CILANTRO)
“kminek” (CARAWAY) Carum carvi
“anyż” ( ANISE, SWEET CUMIN)
leafs of:
“Senes Cassia” (INDIAN SENNA)
“Rzewień dłoniasty” (CHINESE RHUBARB)
“Rzewień lekarski” (INDIAN RHUBARB)
“Kruszyna pospolita” (ADLER BUCKTHORN)
Hope it helps
Here is a good herb source. Almost all of those herbs are available here.
Please BE SURE to perform all the necessary research before ingesting these herbs or their herbal infusions. Make sure you take them correctly and in the right dosage.
