How and when to plant onion sets in Zone 5?
Is it too late to plant onion sets in Zone 5? I have red and white onion sets. If I can plant them now, how exactly do I plant them? Thanks.

no,you can plant onions anytime.What I do(I plant almost 200 of these)is plant them close together about 2in.deep.Then in a couple of months I’ll start taking every other one out to eat.By doin that it gives more room to the other plants and if u want them to get big,then plant them close to the top and 4 to 6in.apart
Also what you don’t use can be left in the ground and they will come back next yr.
