How can I return caked onion powder to its powder state?
Hi everyone I hope someone can help me with this, When I went to use my onion powder I found that it was caked (hard) does anyone know what I should do to make it powder again?

I just take a fork or knife and chop at it until I get some loose. I don’t think it hurts the taste of it if it gets caked. I’m not sure what causes it to happen, but just chop it up with something.
I would recommend breaking it up with a knife or chop stick. Powders as well as sugar and salt will become hard from moisture. To prevent it from happening you should put a few grains of dry rice in the bottle. The rice will soak up the moisture.
I would remove the top, and thrown the contents into a food processor. Hope this helps! good luck.
