How can I stop my toothache?

Hey
I have a really painful toothache and it started today and carried on for a couple of hours, then stopped and carried on again this evening, Now it is ongoing and hurts SO much from my right jaw and going up to my ear. I have brushed my teeth, gargled with salt water, used listerine and clove oil. The clove oil stops it for only around 10 minutes. I have a dentist app tomorrow morning, but how will I make it through the night?

pain medicine is your best bet like aleve or tylenol

go get some ambisol and soak a cotton ball with it and put it in your cheek again the tooth,up around the gums. It will definitely number the area for about an hour, and will give you time to go to sleep pain free. You need antibiotics for a toothache, that is the only thing that will fix it.

Take a whole clove and place it on the tooth it hurts and bite!
Keep it like that for 10-15 minutes
:) )

go buy some baby asprins and put one in the inside of your lip by the tooth and it works you can do like 4 or five every few hours it says on the bottle my husband had the same problem or get a hot as you can handle tea bad and put it there works too

I have a few remedies that worked wonders for me! I know what you are going through…there is nothing worse that tooth pain!
ok..one is…if you have a small needle and seringe (?) I do cause I give my own shots to my pets…but ok, fill the suringe up with proxide, put the needle between the teeth or gum that hurts and flush it out! use couple times daily if needed…works the best for me!!! another one is take a cotton ball and soak it in vodka and let it soak into your gum! whisky works just as well
OR try a soaked tea bag and put against the bad area…sometimes works.
dont forget also take a couple advil
really hope the pain subsides for you quickly! Till you can get in to see a dentist!

I found something that works. Some one wrote that their grandmother said to take an aspirin and let it slowly melt next to the tooth; Allowing the medicine to come directly in contact with the infected tooth and gum, which kills the bacteria and helps to take the pain away. It works!
