How can I substitute tamarind paste with concentrate?
I am a huge Pad Thai lover and I can only find tamarind concentrate(its basically tamarind paste ground into a fine paste and boiled down until it’s thicker than peanut butter). I need to soak the tamarind in water to get tamarind juice. I’ve tried doing this with concentrate, but it never works.
Does anyone know how to work around this?
