		<description>1 tablespoon of fresh is about equivalent to 1 teaspoon of dried.....thats a general rule of thumb....also when using fresh herbs.....add them near the end of the cooking process.....and when using dried.....add earlier as it takes longer to extract the flavors</description>

		<description>Dried herbs are always stronger than fresh ones. A simple conversion is 1 tablespoon of fresh is the equivilant of 1 teaspoon dry. So 3 teaspoons (ie. 1 tablespoon) should do the trick!</description>

		<description>You will use less but put it in the pot earlier.  So I would use two T, since I like basil, and put it in as soon as the soup or dish starts getting the serious liquids added.</description>
