how do you get sesame seeds to stick to break when you bake it ?

I can’t get it to stay on the bread, I have asked other people but it just falls off after I bake it . Some of it stays on, but not as much as the bagels I buy or the bread I get at the bagel store or a grocery store. Please help , thanks.

use an egg wash

Beat one egg with equal amount of cold water then brush on the bread before sprinkling on the sesame seeds
this also makes the top crusty

Brush a little water or egg on the dough and the sprinkle the seeds on and bake it. It works every time.

just brush in a little water then sprinkle seeds on. then bake. you could use melted butter.

Make an egg wash out of one egg white and 1 tablespoon water. Stir it well, brush it on the top of your bread, sprinkle on your seeds, then bake.
