How many tablespoons is a clove of garlic?

I have a recipe that calls for a clove of garlic, but I just buy the minced garlic that comes in a jar. How many tablespoons or teaspoons should I use of the minced garlic so that it will equal the clove of garlic?

About half.

1/2 to 1 teaspoon

I’d say about a teaspoon…

Normally one normal sized clove of garlic, minced will equal 1 teaspoon.

Hiya! x I personally would use about a teaspoon of minced garlic – when you crush a fresh garlic clove it usually gives you about a teaspoon – so thats what I would do :o ) x Hope this helps xx

1 clove = 1/2 tsp

It’s usually written on the jar.
