they are different, I would NOT substitute seeds for stocks
None. Go to the store, and buy a bunch of celery.
Celery seeds are not an acceptable sub for stalks.
My recommendations for a celery substitute would be carrots,
fennel stalks, jicama, or bok choy.
Celery seeds are not the same as celery stalks. That’s like asking ‘How many baby’s does it take to make a bottle of baby oil?’

Sorry but this substitution just won’t work. go ahead and try it, you’ll definitely find you wasted your money on celery seeds.
