How much crushed garlic to I use to equal clove?

How does Crushed garlic convert? Like I have a recipe that calls for two cloves of garlic. I have one of those little jars of minced garlic. How much do I use to equal the two cloves?

1 teaspoon is what The Food Network says.

Whatever looks like two cloves. IS there such a thing as too much garlic.

1 teaspoon is roughly equal to two cloves of garlic. It says it on most jars of minced garlic… Hope this helps!

One clove equals one tablespoon of crushed/minced garlic.

how much do you like garlic?
i’d guess two teaspoons
but i would use four
(but i’m a garlic freak)

1 tsp of CRUSHED garlic = approximately 3 average cloves.
1 tsp of MINCED garlic = approximately 2 average cloves.

I would think a 1/4 teaspoon would be enough.
I believe fresh is best.

I use the canned chopped garlic and it calls for 1/2 teaspoon for every clove used in the recipe, so for 2 cloves you would use 1 teaspoon . Hope this helps.

According to this website I found, it’s 1/8 of a teaspoon of powdered, dehydrated, or minced garlic equals 1 clove so just double it : )

Garlic is powerful, so I would only use 1/4 tsp. for a clove of garlic.

Use one teaspoon for two med cloves
