I am making “Chicken Tortilla Soup”, and my recipe calls for 2 cloves of Garlic, and all I have is Garlic powder. I was wondering how much garlic powder to use in place of 2 cloves.

1 tsp
it should be on the label
My label says 1/8 teaspoon.
1/4 tsp of garlic powder is equal to1 clove of garlic
1/4 tsp = one medium sized clove of garlic…..
1/2 tsp = one very large or 2 medium cloves……
