I have successfully grown sage, oregano, thyme, and basil together in a pot. I think parsley likes the same kind of conditions. I’m not sure about tarragon, but you’ll want to grow your rosemary in a separate pot because it likes slightly drier conditions.

Good luck!

yes u can get a tray that has more then one pot tray get a bag of potting soil from department store use that in everyone then plant seeds, then spray mist soil keep inside keep soil moist, don’t over water, dont rush the growth

If at all possible, use organic potting soil. You can buy it at most any store that sells potting soil. As far as growing all these herbs in one container, that won’t work. First of all, it’s just too much for one container. Second, some herbs grow better with each other and some do not. It’s a complimentary thing. Try doing a search online for growing herbs together. Check out the sites below:

Its not easy to grow herbs indoors because they love lots of sunlight but if you have a south facing window you may be able to do it. You will also need a huge pot to grow all those herbs together. Something like a half wine barrel would be about the right size. Any standard potting mix will be fine for herbs. Scotts makes one with SoilMoist crystals to help with watering.

the rosemary would likely like to live outside it likes to be dry, and it is a perennial as opposed to the others

I prefer Miraclegro potting soil.

Rosemary and Oregano definitely need their own pots. Sage and thyme could share a container, basil, parsley, and tarragon in another. All herbs want full, all day sun and would rather be in the ground as opposed to pots. Indoors they’ll tend to become “leggy” reaching for light. You can supplement the light with grow lights.
