I need suggestions on what spices to add to hamburgers?
I am making hamburgers tonight for dinner but I don’t know what spices to add to them. Do you add spices before, during or after cooking? Thanks all!!

Make your patty’s then add, garlic powder, fresh ground black pepper, and a good seasioning salt. Like Rachael say’s Yummo. And you season it before you cook it. Do this on both sides. He is gonna love it.
Have you ever put dry onion soup in your ground beef before cooking them, they are a favorite here.
You can use chopped onions or scallions, fresh ground black pepper, garlic (or garlic powder if you can’t stand it fresh), soy sauce for saltiness and a touch of oregano. You mix these while the hamburger is still raw and when grilling, you can put slices of red onion to cook with the burgers (on top or on the side) to infuse a bit of sweetness to it. I also add an egg or two to keep the burgers from falling apart while cooking.
If you want to get REALLY fancy, I like to take out the oregano and cook the burgers with a bit of rosemary infused olive oil. I also use Japanese kewpie mayonnaise and a good mustard (sometimes mixed with a bit of wasabi powder or curry powder though don’t do this if you’re using the rosemary oil).
Good luck!
Before when you’re making them. I’ll add things like cajun seasoning, red pepper flakes, a small amount of hot sauce, etc.
Mix up dry Lipton onion soup mix into the burger,if you have it,its great!Or add, celery seed, garlic powder, even oregano prior to cooking them..I usually use season salt in the burger prior to cooking and add pepper just before I finish cooking them…
first you mix them in with burger befor cooking
salt
pepper
onion powder
garlic powder
cajun seasoning
works great everytime God Bless
Just add salt and pepper……since you put things like ketchup, mustard, pickles, etc. you don’t need to flavor the burgers that much. If you like you could add minced onions. I wouldn’t add much more, because they start to taste like meatloaf and not burgers.
i like a little bit of lawry’s and a little garlic salt..
and i like to mix the seasonings in with the meat…
when you put it on top sometimes it sticks to the pan
For a good burger, keep it simple. I just use garlic powder and fresh ground black pepper. I put it on the raw hamburger once they are shaped.
To cook my burger, I put it in the oven on 400ยบ and cook it 10 minutes on each side. Then I turn on the broiler and finish cooking it until the juices run clear. It’s perfect timing for any vegetable you want to serve with it. I use frozen veggies so I put them on right when the burger goes in the oven and both are done at the same time.
Coriander seeds. You can grind them up so you wont get whole seeds when eating the burger. Friends and family can’t seem to get enough of these burgers when we make them.
i mix A1 sauce in mine before grilling.
