Is it bad to store multiple vegetables and herbs in the same water?
I have heard and read and seen that the best way to store fresh herbs and green onions is to place the stems in water in the fridge. I just wonder if storing, say, green onions with parsley for several days would give the parsley a slight onion-y flavor and maybe the onions a parsley flavor. Does anyone have any experience with this?
