no……….only if you refine it

heroine is a female hero. heroin is the drug. im pretty sure its legal as long as you dont harvest any of the opium sap

yes it is legal it is illegal to process it

In the US and some countries, it’s not.

nope no law against… just make sure to show it off to all the cops in the neighborhood…..

yes. and heroin isnt made from the plant itself, but from the delisious juices. most of the time people are a bit slow to know what papaver somniferum even looks like tho.

Having a poppy plant isn’t illegal but making heroine from is it of course.

Sure it is. I have a garden full of them, and I haven’t been busted yet. I would, however, discourage you from trying to use them for anything other than, say, poppyseed cake.

I believe it is illegal in the US but you can grow other types of poppys. It is also illegal to grew hemp from which we make ropes.

It’s legal, just change your address every 6 months, don’t say too much on a cordless phone or on a cell phone, hide in the basement when you are not at work, take a different route to work every day, change your pants at least 8 times a week, wear a tie to work then remove the tie on the way home, keep a pair of sunglasses in your trunk, don’t call collect, eat nothing but granola bars and yogurt, and you’ll be ok.

no offense…but dumb question. if it were illegal they wouldnt grow wild in most countries…wouldnt be (in any form) on baked goods.

it is however illegal to set up a lab and refine the product to make opiate based drugs.

That’s like asking while pulling up to a gas station “can you fill up this bottle up with gas cap it with a rag and toss it to a car?”

it’s illegal 4 personal interest but yes 4 industrial purposes with permit to avoid abuses.

I too have them in my garden. They are just beautiful, and that’s why I have a few. I got the seed from a local gardener who sells plants. I asked her if I could buy one and she said “no, but I will give you a pod of seeds, as it would be illegal for me to sell them to you”.

According to Mother Earth News, the poppy seeds that u buy in the spice section of the grocery store is the ones that can be processed into opium. Even tho it is legal to buy the seeds it is illegal to plant them. And besides very few people in the USA knows how to harvest the sap. My Mother In Law taught me the proess years ago. Never have tried it as of yet. Maybe after I retire.

No you can grow them, you just can’t slice them open and use the juice.-

Depends what country you are in. The USA laws are so convoluted it’s hard to make sense of them. Currently it seems to be legal to sell the seeds, but illegal to grow them. I don’t understand the logic, but I don’t write laws.
