Is it ok to bring vanilla extract and brown sugar in a carry on luggage?
I am traveling this Thanksgiving and I am in charge of making the chocolate bread pudding. I have some of the ingredients like brown sugar, coco powder, vanilla and almond extract and I don’t want to buy them at my destination because I already have them. Vanilla and Almond Extract is really expensive. Is it ok to put them in my carry on? I can’t really fit them into my check in bags. Will I have them taken away?

It is ok to carry all these items in carry on, but the main concern is the vanilla and almond extract since that’s liquid. It must be less than 100ml in volume, and you must put it inside a clear resealable bag to go through scan separately.
