Is it the quality of the cinnamon that lowers cholesterol and lower diabetes?
I was told that cinnamon lowers cholesterol and can lower diabetes in some people. I use the best quality of cinnamon. It’s easy for me to get the best quality of cinnamon because I sale the best cinnamon. Do you think 1/2 ts. that I take is sufficient?

I’ve never heard of that.
that isn’t proven.
like most claims.
best thing is to eat your veggies and fruits.
grapefruit and garlic so far are the “proven”: antidotes for both issues.
but you have to be ingesting them long long before you have any complications with the two problems at hand.
that’s why you’re not suppose to eat or drink grapefruit juice with most statins, because it’ll effect the medication.. both control liver function when it comes to lipid production.
like garlic. but you can still eat garlic if you take a statin. diabetes well i was told long as i’m on my diet (vegetarian) i won’t have to worry with mild diabetes ever.
and exercize.. regular not that crazy i must do it daily or i’ll die crap.
statins: anti cholesterol medications.
Yes, they report that you can simply stir a cinnamon stick in tea and that would be enough to produce an effect.
After hearing this news, I sprinkle cinnamon in my breakfast cereal, put it in tea and coffee, and use it whenever I can. You can also buy cinnamon capsules now at the health food store.
you probably need more than that or more often to get therapeutic value.
also consider these:
Yes my mother uses Cinnamon for her High Blood Pressure and she says it helps a lot . I have also heard that its good to lower cholesterol and is know to act favorably on diabetics. And about half a spoon is what she recommends so you have got it right lady !
Take Care and God Bless
You can also buy it in capsules. I’m not big on the taste of cinnamon so I buy the capsules and they are not very expensive.
