is this a symptoms of detox?
my bf is using oil of oregano and oregamax to help detox his body of yeast, bacteria etc…
the past few days that he has been taking it, he notices that when he sweats (after it dries) it looks like a white crusted substance on the backs of his hands…..
could that be the yeast excreted or salt? and if its salt, why would that do that now with the cleanse?
i was thinking yeast b/c thats what the cleanse targets but i’m not sure
there is no smell or taste…as of yet

i thought when your body sweats or excretes it comes out that way
not sure…I have never heard of this happening…is there no smell or taste…it is his toxins so does he not know what it smells like…yeast has a distinct smell
It’s salt, and nothing to worry about. When I used to work hard in the sun, at the end of the day my clothes were streaked with it.
it’ , sweat.
may well be but why he detoxifying his body like that. the simplest way is to squeeze fresh lemon in a glass of water b4 bed and 1st thing in morning. clean out his systems at that end…lol he should be fine. loadsa water, loadsa green veg, loadsa fruit, loadsa fruit juices, loadsa water and hardly tea and coffee…they dehydrate! not hydrate so its not counted in fluids!
Depending on how he is dosing himself the herbs, and how long he has been detoxing himself on the herbs, he could be having excessive yeast die-off.
When yeast dies, they release proteins and other toxins that can cause your immune system to over-react.
If you try to kill yeast too rapidly you can get temporary worsening of the original symptoms and acquire new ones.
He may want to back down on the herbs a bit and increase more them at a more gradual rate.
Otherwise he could end up with other problems (like the skin reaction ) b/c of the fight that is going on b/n the yeast and the body’s natural bacterias, as well as, the herbs that are trying to kill the yeast.
Always be careful with herbs, just as you would with prescription meds.
Too much, too fast can cause adverse reactions too; though I am a huge believer that herbs are a better route than prescription meds.
