Is too much ginger bad for you?
When I had an upset stomach, an elder Chinese woman gave me a cup of strong ginger tea. It helped tremendously. Recently I perchased a bag of candied ginger. I can’t get enough! I ate the whole bag. Will this disrupt my digestive system.?
I don’t make a habit of overdoing anything(eating candied ginger) but how much is too much?

What a ridiculous thing to ask. Crystallised ginger contains sugar – that’s what you should be worrying about.
Take a look at south east Asian cooking and take note of the huge amounts of ginger, chilli, tofu and fresh vegetables they use, then compare the disease rates there to the obesity/cancer/menopause problems of the western world who have such a sugar filled and processed diet. Cut out refined sugar and american fast foods before you start worrying about natural food stuffs.
How can I dissolve crystallized ginger in hot tea?
Thanks,
