Please help! Plant Experiment?
What may be the cause of some plants growing better under one color of light versus another color?
I’m doing an experiment involving radish plants and am growing them in red, white and blue light. The plants under the red light seem to be showing the most improvent and have the highest average height and# of leaves. Why do you think that it is so?
First person to give me a good, reasonable answer will get the 10 points.
All help is appreciated!!

well i would expect that the blue light would have the greatest effect on plant growth because as you probably know plant mainly absorb in the blue violet end of the spectrum. one probable reason is because of your filters on your red light may not be stronger and so some of the other wave lengths of light are able to penetrate your filter.
