To those who have used Fenugreek to increase your milk supply?
… Did you get your period shortly after starting Fenugreek?
I’ve read that it’s an emmenagogue (induces menstrual bleeding) and I just got mine, 2 weeks after starting Fenugreek. My son is only 9 weeks old and 100% breastfed so I thought that was strange.

No, I’ve used it with both of my kids and with number 2 I started as soon as we came home from the hospital and didn’t get my period until he was 4 months old. My oldest was exclusively breast fed and I got my period when he was only 6 weeks old. Everyone’s body is different, many women ovulate and have periods while breastfeeding and it’s normal for them. Others don’t and that is normal for them.
