2 comments a “wall of tripoli? clove?”
If you mean Tripoli, Libya, North Africa there are three holes in the wall.
There is also a Tripoli in Greece and in Lebanon. They were all walled cities
I’m not sure if I’m understanding your question correctly, but in Tripoli, Lebanon there is what is called the “Wall of Houses” which you get an amazing view of from the Castle of St Giles. It truly is an amazing site to see. There are so many houses built very closely together that the entire landscape is blocked out by them. The holes you might be refering to is probably some of the windows in those homes, which can appear very dark. Hope I was some help.
