What accent color would look nice with sage bridesmaid dresses?

My wedding is in May and I’m having trouble coming up with flower ideas for a sage-green bridemaid dress. I want to keep it simple & elegant. Does anyone have any recommendations?

a light pink maybe?

sterling roses. simple white flowers.

crimson or magenta

a creamy butter yellow. That is always a beautiful combination. By doing that, you can have your flowers be any color you want!

Ivory or cream

you can never go wrong with white, I think pink or lavendar would be really pretty as well

Either a really pale or deep purple would look nice. Light pink or cream would also be a good combination. Roses are always an elegant option.

white flowers, navy ribbons

some purple shade, darker purple for more elegance and lighter purple for more of a lighter, springtime or daytime wedding… and since your wedding is in the springtime you might like to have the lighter purples but it doesnt really matter… whatever you like

another idea: you have green as the dress color so pink (greens complement) would look nice… all variations of pink would work too if you want that, but since its spring i would stick to pastel pinks

i would use hydrangeas, roses, and peonies for your bouquets (green hydrangeas, pink and white roses, and pink peonies) and maybe some other kind of green flower too

dark purple, butter yellow, burgundy, light blue and ivory as an accent for all the above

I don’t mean all these together, just one, but wanted to provide several choices

You could try to pair it with a neutral color like cream, beige or off white. Other color choices would be like a darker shade of green like hunter.

good luck.

I am having apricot and sage as my colors. So my vote is for apricot (or a peachy color)

Pink would also be nice… or lavender… or a pale/creamy yellow…

Good luck!

Parsley green, ideally with rosemary and thyme.

Pink or lavender.

i would say rose pink and maybe throw in some sm. yellow flowers and lots of green leaves

I think like a cream,or ivory color.

I’m getting married November 1st. My colors are ivory, sage green, and a deep pink (almost purple)

Many shades of purple and yellow go great. One way to decide, go to your local Home Depot and find a paint card that matches the shade of your dresses then match them to other color cards…fast and easy and you have an array of shades at your finger tips!

wow funny timing – we just finished painting our bedroom sage green and our daughter just came home with a set of candles for us – in a burnt orange color and they look fabulous against the sage green! so i would say if you went with an orange or yellow it would be beautiful.
heres what you do, go to the paint store and pick up a bunch of color charts, bring them home and ‘play’ with them a bit – you’ll soon figure out what colors you think best complement your sage green gowns!
and you’ll do it in the comfort of your own home with a glass of wine [and maybe a slice of pizza?] lol

whatever you choose i wish you a very happy wedding!

A pastel purple would look awesome next to a sage green dress!

In my opinion it would be good to go with a light lavender or maybe a creamy/beige/champagne color.
