What can i use to replace pureed garlic?
I am making a potato soup from olive garden and it calls for pureed garlic, i couldnt find that for the life of me at the store. I do have garlic powder and garlic salt though. I would have gotten a clove of garlic but i dont have a food processer. It calls for 2 tsps of pureed garlic. What can i do?

Use what you have. It will be fine!
You can actually use your knife and ‘crush’ it (or flatten it) with the side blade. ‘Mince’ or ‘mash’ it a few times and then run your knife through it until it’s become almost like a paste. Adding a little salt with it can help soften it more.
Or if you have a mortar and pestle, put your clove in it and add a pinch of salt and mash it that way.
If you don’t have that, improvise by putting your cloves in a ziploc bag and use a can of beans to roll over the garlic and pound it out.
It works.
But if all you have is garlic powder and salt, just use the garlic powder. It’s tastier than the salt.
use the garlic powder NOT the garlic salt. the garlic powder should also give you an idea of how much to use to equal 2 tsps of fresh garlic
If you can find them, use tubes of pre-pureed garlic. *S*
