what is the best mustard to use for homemade honey mustard?
I have a recipe that calls for 1/2 cup honey mustard; but I don’t have any on hand at the moment. I do, however have honey and a variety of mustards in my refrigerator. Which is the best to use and how much of each should I use?

I would use your favorite mustard. The safest way would be to use a plain yellow mustard. I usually mix 1/2 & 1/2.
i like a brown mustard like Frenches
Just use normal mustard and add brown sugar to it…it’ll taste the same. Sry I don’t have measurements, I just mix it until it tatses good. maybe try almost 1/2 cup mustard and then add 3 tablespoons brown sugar, se how that tastes if its not honey tasting enough add another tablespoon and so forth until it tastes right.
I vote for spicy brown. Yellow mustard is, well, yellow mustard. It’s just OK on hot dogs with relish and onions to hide the taste.
1/2 cup dry mustard
