What is the conversion from cinnamon oil to cinnamon extract?
I’m making hard cinnamon candy and I can’t find cinnamon oil anywhere so I’m settling for cinnamon extract. The recipe calls for 3 tablespoons of cinnamon oil so how much cinnamon extract would that be?

Usually the Pharmacys sell Cinnamon Oil. Or online. Cinnamon oil is much stronger that the extract so at 3 tbls of the oil, I would think double the Extract to 6 tbls. Also, the extract being a liquid may be different in the candy. I am not sure but it seems the extract may not mix in as well.
