What is the reason why there is such a variation in prices at the store for cinnamon?
My boyfriend and I went to buiy ground cinnamon tonight at the store and couldn’t believe the difference in prices. One small bag was $.59 yet there was a spice bottle which was almost $8.00. What would the reason be for this? Are there different grades of cinnamon, menaing would one be better tasting then another? I just assumed cinnamon is cinnamon.
Thanks

A bottle costs more because it’s a permanent container. Go with the plastic bag. Some of the more expensive stuff is a little stronger, but not enough so a normal person would notice it. Get a bottle once, and then buy the bags to refill it.
