What kind of mint causes a chemical reaction when added to diet soda?
There is ia certain kind of mint that causes diet soda to explode when it’s put in it….does anyone know what kind of mint that would be?

I think it has to be the original white mentos, not the colored ones with the slick waxy coating on the shell. The ones with the coating do not react as well as the original white ones.

mentos!!!!! and in my opinion there are a lot more things that can!!. just look at how full you feel after a diet coke!!??
You’re thinking of Mentos peppermint candies and Diet Coke. It will create a soda geyser within a few seconds of dropping the candies into the soda.
We did this one night at the grocery store where I used to work just to see what would happen . . . BIG MESS!
