What spices can I flavor my baked chicken?
I am making french onion soup with swiss cheese on top. So what can I do with the chicken to go along with that?

Get you some shake and bake.
rosemary and thyme, garlic.
Use some salt (or a little season salt, a little granulated garlic, and some italian seasoning. you could also add a little white wine as a rue.)
Marinate your chicken in Italian dressing overnight before gilling or roasting it. The flavor will be subtle but wonderful! Serve with a simple salad, artisan cheese and rolls.
I am a huge fan of Mrs. Dash. Sprinkle some on top with some salt and pepper, and then put some butter on top (just a few pieces). It is SO tasty!. You can also try loosely stuffing the cavity of the chicken with fresh herbs (rosemary and thyme are great) and cloves of garlic, onion, celery, carrots, etc. Each different item that you put in the cavity will lend a different flavor to the chicken. Good luck deciding!
