What’s the best way to store half of an onion or pepper when used only partially?
I am only cutting off a bit of red and green pepper and onion for a spaghetti meal. Do I store the rest of the pepper and onion in the fridge? Leave them out? Cover and leave out?? I want to use them in a meal tomorrow and maybe the next day. What’s the best way to save?

I just put mine in a baggie and stick it in the fridge, sometimes I moisten a paper towel and stick it in the baggie too.
Wrap well in plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator
I put my partially used vegetables in a ziplock bag and store in the vegetable tray of my refrigerator. They stay crisp and fresh until the next use. You could also use green bags to keep them until the next use — or wrap in saran wrap.
I usually just pop mine in the fridge and cover whatever it’s in with foil!
you need to cover it and put it in the fridge. Cling wrap or a plastic container works or even those little sandwich baggies that fold on the top if you have those. If you don’t wrap onion especially, the smell/taste of it can transfer to other foods in your fridge like butter and such.
Use a ziplock storage bag it will last weeks in the fridge
just put it in a plastic baggie and store it in the fridge.
wrap them in plastic wrap and throw in the fridge for prolonged use
