In the US – mace is usually regulated by your state and you may be required to have permit to carry it.
It is not legal everywhere.
Not in self-defense no. I have seen it sold where weapons are sold. Like knives and guns.
mace is not legal everywhere…in some places you have register to have it and rather than ask yourself if you could get in trouble for using it ask yourself this
would you be willing to accept punishment if the mace saved your life or prevented you from being raped
You can buy mace online easy. Any website that sells ammuntion or edged weapons would have mace of some kind.
