Which planted herbs are perennials, annuals, etc?
For the first time, I planted my herbs outside last summer. I am just curious if any of them will return. In other words, which herbs are perennials, annuals, etc?
I planted the following herbs:
Greek Oregano
Basil
Sage
Thyme
Rosemary
Dill

Thyme, Rosemary and Sage should all return (sage doesn’t like it too wet I drowned mine sadly). Not sure about Oregano?
The others are annuals and should have seeded, especially Dill, it seeds everywhere.
Agree with bubbles. Oregano is perennial.
The dill will have to be reseeded, you can do it or it will reseed itself. The sage will come back and also the thyme will come back. The others I have not had much luck with but the location has a lot to do with it. Master Gardener
