Who can tell me how to make a drink I had a long time ago?
I think it was called russian tea. It was kept and served from a crock pot. I had this in the winter, around the Holidays. It was sweet but tasted of, maybe, allspice or clove. Help? Thanks, Dixie

My mom used to make that. There is a tea called “Constant Comment” that is amazing by itself, but you can also add cloves, honey, whatever you like.( It’s in a gold and red tin.)
“I love this tangy beverage on a cold winter’s morning when I want something tasty and hot, but don’t want coffee! It makes a great gift from your kitchen, too! If calories are your concern, use an artificially sweetened orange drink mix, eliminate the sugar and sweeten to taste with sugar substitute.”
1 cup instant tea powder
2 cups orange-flavored drink mix (e.g. Tang)
1 (3 ounce) package powdered lemonade mix
2 cups white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
In a large bowl, combine instant tea powder, orange drink mix, lemonade powder, sugar, cinnamon and cloves. Mix thoroughly. Store in a sealed jar.
To use, mix 3 to 4 tablespoons of mix with 1 cup hot or cold water. Adjust to taste.
