Workers at a Jersey City hospital threw the body of a baby out with the trash, prompting investigators to launch a search of landfills in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, local news organizations report.
The Jersey Journal says there’s some dispute as to whether the baby was stillborn. (ABC News says there’s a significant legal distinction, as a stillborn isn’t a person under state law.)
Either way, the paper says hospital officials acknowledged that the body of Bashere Moyd Jr. should have been in the morgue, not the dump, when a funeral home sent someone to Christ Hospital.
“This baby has to be found,” Michael Anise, a lawyer who represents the mother, Kalynn Moore, tells the paper. “We want to have the child back. My client is absolutely astonished and in dismay. She wants closure. We have to find this baby.”
The hospital tells WCBS-TV “we hope to bring this unfortunate situation to a resolution as soon as possible.”

That is a horrible story. Really awful. But, I’m failing to understand what Obama has to do with it…Why does it matter what he thinks of it? I’m sure he probably thinks it’s terrible like most feeling people. This question is just…stupid…
